After generations spent in mills and a rich history of chasing down vermin in fields, the Yorkshire Terrier is ranked among the most popular toy sized breeds in many countries, including the US, the UK, Australia, Italy and parts of South Africa.

Fun Fact

Every now and then, a Yorkie will be born that resembles his ancestors; his coat will be black and red and stay that was as an adult. This is known as Red Legged Yorkshire Terriers and while they do not meet the standard, they play an important role in both hair texture and coloring.
